Her City History
Kiora (then known as Sophie) was turned in the city on Halloween in 2004. After stumbling around for several months gaining powers, she found herself inside the Shadow Court under the supervision of Lesion, led by Ophelia. After several months and a near fling with Lesion, Kiora was dragged through a court trial in front of the leaders of Shadow Court and accused of being a spy due to a misunderstanding. Once the leaders realized their mistake, they invited her to stay but Kiora took her leave and began working in the RBC tavern for 3 years as a bartender and server.
Several years later, she made the name change from Sophie to Kiora and built herself a home outside city limits in a small cave. She had left behind her Mansion of Malice and her entire human past, wanting to let it all go. Her only connection left to the city was the local paper, Nitty Gritty, she followed until Liander stumbled upon her and dragged her back within city limits. After being briefly sired under Liander, Kiora met and sired to Rawnie, joined some train wreck Capadocious had attempted to build, and quickly returned to her cave.
Kiora had continued to make occasional visits to the local tavern, and was introduced to NightTerrors by Inu. Kiora had no interest in romantic relationships and had ignored NT's advances for several months until he finally did a radio show for the entire city in which he tried one last time to convince Kiora to give him a chance. She did, and the pair eventually bound- a first for both of them. They severed briefly when Kiora slept but rebound on her return until irreparable differences had them severed permanently 3 years later. Following that severance was her quick binding to Spencer, followed by another quick binding to Lord Bubbleknight, a severance due to absence and an affair on Bub's part with Gypsy.
Rawnie and Kiora severed after Rawnie decided to leave the city permanently.
Through all of this, Kiora had tried to do the family thing and became a proper Dumont, after siring to Damacus. Damacus often made her feel like a tool or weapon to be utilized when needed. Rawnie returned and resired Kiora, severed again after a big disagreement over Seyda and Rawnie left the city once again. Kiora returned for a short time to Damacus. A war began between Dumonts and Yggdrasil, a fight that Kiora disliked immensely, during which her entire family was broken down. She left Damacus and decided to stay a master vampire for several years.
Kiora got involved with Syzygy, introduced to him through Seyda. The two had a physical relationship for several years and remain good friends.
During these years with Syzygy, Kiora spent her time without Syz deep within Malice, connecting to the house and dealing with her angst with her best friend Liar. The pair share a dark secret and keep it very contained inside of the basement of Malice.
Currently, 2017, Kiora has found her way to Dank, an old friend, and the two share both his home and Malice. She has sired to her previous sibling, Virgo. Suki has returned home and shares Malice- the only other person to be blood connected to the living house.
